Fort Lewis College School of Business Administration retained its business education accreditation with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, or AACSB International. Accredited for another five years, SOBA is among only 5% of business schools in the world with AACSB accreditation.
Achieving accreditation is a rigorous, multiyear process of developing and implementing a plan to align with AACSB’s accreditation standards. These standards require excellence in areas relating to strategic management and innovation. Once accreditation is achieved, each institution participates in a five-year continuous improvement peer review to maintain high quality and extend its accreditation.
