The Life-Long Learning Lecture Series will present “Are We a Warlike Species?” at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 2, in Room 130 of Noble Hall at Fort Lewis College.
Tom Givon, former linguistics and cognitive science professor and Colorado rancher, will talk about the nature of homo sapiens and discuss whether the species is inherently peaceful or warlike. He will discuss the argument’s roots and the current evolutionary conceptions of neo-Darwinian primatologists.
The lecture is free and open to all.
