A science open house day will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday in Chemistry Hall, Sitter Family Hall and the biology wing of Berndt Hall at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive.
Fort Lewis College chemistry professors will present live science shows in Room 130 of Chemistry Hall, including:
1 p.m.: “How to Bend Light to Your Will” by Michael Grubb.3:30 p.m.: “Explosion Extravaganza” by Kenny Miller.Chemistry, biology, geology, physics and engineering interactive demonstrations will also be offered from noon to 4 p.m. at various locations in Chemistry, Sitter Family and Berndt halls.
The event is free and open to all.
