The FLC women’s team went 1-2 in the Division I women’s omnium, as well. Sofia Gomez Villafane topped teammate Brittany Clawson by 28 points to take the overall individual title, with Sage Kitson in eighth. Michael Sampson was the top FLC omnium finisher on the men’s side, finishing fourth.

Clawson claimed the national title in women’s dual slalom Sunday with 459.04 points to go with her runner-up omnium finish, while FLC’s Rebecca Gardner was eighth. Meghan Kane was 15th, and Villafane and Kitson tied for 18th. Phil Cowan was the top finisher for FLC in the men’s event, finishing third, while Brian White was sixth, Sampson eighth, Zach Graveson 12th and Adam Digby 18th.

The Skyhawks’ relay team of Lauren Catlin, Garrett Lundberg and Payson McElveen took home second place behind the champions from Marian on Sunday, as well.
