The Fort Lewis Mesa Elementary School fifth-grade basketball team held its first practice Friday and will hold regular practices at 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays at the school.
The team’s first game is scheduled for Jan. 27 at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
