Foundation awards $10,000 grant to Manna

The Jacques Pépin Foundation has named Manna as one of its Winter 2026 Grant Awardees. The organization will receive $10,000.

One of 20 recipients this round, Manna runs The Manna Culinary Training Program, which offers holistic culinary job skills and workforce placement for vulnerable populations including low-income adults and at-risk youths.

Manna will use its grant to support the culinary instructor, chef uniforms, knife bags, curriculum enhancements and to maintain student stipends, which are critical for enrollment and retention. In addition to the $10,000 grant, Manna will receive JPF branded aprons for their students and a group membership to the Foundation.

Founded in 2016 by the Pépin family, the JPF strives to enrich lives and strengthen communities through the power of culinary education.

Community-based culinary arts training programs are invited to apply to the Jacques Pépin Foundation Grant Program for Community-Based Culinary Arts Training Programs throughout the year and are awarded twice: one in summer and one in winter. Applications for the Summer Grant Program open in February.
