Four Corners Gem and Mineral Club will host its 68th annual Gem and Mineral Show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 8 and 9, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 10 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Sixty dealers from across the U.S. will sell rocks, gems, minerals crystals, fossils, meteorites, geodes, shells, and beads from around the world, as well as jewelry, equipment, tools, findings and more. There will also be a silent auction, kids’ events and on-site food trucks.
Classes focusing on lapidary and metalsmithing techniques are offered throughout the weekend, but are limited to six students each.
Admission is $3 per day. Children 12 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult. There is no ATM on site. On-site parking is free.
