Four States Ag Expo will host a hemp update and panel discussion from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds.
The event will address hemp uses, rules and regulations; production practices; markets; and processing.
The schedule includes:
9-10:50 a.m., Ag Summit Room, presentation by Abdel Berrada of Mesa Verde Ag Solutions and panel discussion.10:50-11:30 a.m., lunch break.11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Classroom A, presentation by Kat Bagley of Venus Moon Ranch about the hemp supply chain, growers’ co-ops, research and education.For more information, call 570-7937 or email afberrada@gmail.com.
