Members of the Durango Acupuncture Alliance will provide veterans free acupuncture today as they do every Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. at The Self-Heal Center, 635 East Fifth Ave.

A $20 donation is requested of the public in general.

The practitioners use the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association protocol, an ear treatment, developed in New York in the 1970s. The treatment, found useful in treating post-traumatic stress disorder, is used in 1,500 clinics in the country.
