The Life-Long Learning Free Lecture Series will present “Surfing the Tsunami: Constantly New and Ever-Changing Technology” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in Room 130 of Noble Hall at Fort Lewis College.
Martha Talman, director of Reed Library at FLC, will discuss massive technology changes that revolutionized human interaction, political structures, economies, businesses, education and learning. Talman will demonstrate how being open and inquisitive enables people to respond to new technologies in positive ways.
The lecture is free and open to all.
