Free summer breakfasts and lunches for kids and teens start Monday in Ignacio, sponsored by the Ignacio School District.
Meals will be served at the new elementary school on County Road 320. Breakfast will be served from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Meals are free for ages 1 to 18. Parents are welcome to join their kids. Breakfast is $2.50, and lunch is $3.50. Please no checks or large bills.
Meals will be served Monday through Friday (except July 4 and 11) through Aug. 15. The summer food service program helps kids get the nutrition they need when school is out.
