Freedom rings and sometimes, it walks.
The city of Durango Parks and Recreation Department will host the Fourth of July Freedom 5K Run/Walk starting at 9 a.m. July 4 at Rotary Park. Check-in will be between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. at the special event tent, according to a news release issued by the city.
The event is open to participants of all ages and is free of charge.
