The Friends of the Durango Public Library will hold its Holiday Book and Bag Sale from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the
Bibliophiles are invited to stuff a free Friends’ bag with books and pay only $10. All other books are sold at the once-a year bargain price of $1 per pound. Those looking for the perfect “stocking gift” will be able to purchase Friends of the Library gift certificates, which can be redeemed at the Friends’ Book Store and future book sales.
The sale features another holiday treat, the popular Membership Book Raffle. Join the Friends or renew your membership at the sale and you’ll have a chance to win a box of books, your own selection. As always, all proceeds generated by the sale benefit the Durango Public Library and its branches.
