Friends of the Durango Public Library will hold a book sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the library, 1900 East Third Ave.
The “first choice” sale for Friends of the Library will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday. If you are not a Friends of the Library member, you can join at the door.
The sale will be open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Thousands of books spanning a wide variety of topics and genres will be available. Books will be $1 per pound, and all proceeds go straight to the library and its branches to fund summer reading programs, the annual Literary Festival, guest authors, e-books and more.
