Friends of the San Juans will hold its end-of-the-winter-season celebration from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Pine Needle Mountaineering, 835 Main Ave.
Mark Mueller with the Colorado Avalanche Information Center will be featured as guest speaker. The evening will also include food from Zia Taqueria, beer from Carver Brewing Co., giveaways and raffle prizes from Osprey backpacks.
Proceeds will go to the San Juan Mountains Colorado Avalanche Information Center program.
The event is free and open to all.
