A cyclist rides along the Animas River Trail behind the Durango Powerhouse on Wednesday morning through light snow that fell overnight. The sun and a high of 44 degrees Wednesday quickly erased any trace of the storm. But it did drop about 5 inches at area ski resorts and up to 17 inches in the central Colorado mountains. The forecast for Durango through the weekend is for mostly sunny skies with daytime highs in the low 50s.
