A full moon snowshoe hike will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Haviland Lake, located 20 miles north of Durango off U.S. Highway 550.
Naturalist Mike Bienkowski will lead a snowshoe hike. Participants will walk through a ponderosa pine forest in the moonlight and learn about moon cycles and animal tracking.
The workshop is free for Durango Nature Studies members and kids younger than 12 and costs $10 for nonmembers. Snowshoe rentals will be available for $5.
