Friends of the family of Jolean Scott are holding two fundraisers on Friday and Saturday to raise funds to cover her medical expenses.
Jolean was diagnosed in August with an aggressive form of cancer, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma.
A bake sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Community Banks of Colorado. Cookies, zucchini bread, carrot cake, cupcakes and other goodies will be sold.
On Saturday, a silent auction will be held at Kamoska Pilates, located at 357 N. Mountain View Drive.
Bids can be made on items donated by the Coffee Merchant, Floral Expressions, Brenda's Old West Cafe, SunUte Community Center, Bayfield Auto Care, Salon B, Nia exercise, Serious Texas Barbecue, Stadium 9 Movie Theater, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Baked, Aspenwood Offices, Hong's Garden, Far West Enterprise, and Kamoska Pilates.
