San Juan Angler fly fishing shop will host a free Fly Fishing 101 class from 10 to 11:30 a.m. July 24 at Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive.

Learn the basics of setting up a fly rod, beginner casting skills and entomology. San Juan Angler’s guides will provide all the gear, equipment and tackle needed for the class, but if participants have a rod and they would like to practice with it they may bring it.
