I am a strong, successful business woman and I support Dave Peters in his efforts to recall Gwen Lachelt. To say this recall is based on sexism is a typical liberal attempt to deflect from solid problems. Lachelt has proven she is not for the people of La Plata County using special interest money to push dangerous agendas and outright lies.
Just this year, Lachelt has crippled the Sheriff’s department putting them in Priuses, which is like trying to chase a criminal with a walker. She is pushing the land use code to dictate what people in the county will do with their land.
She is pushing “solar” for the county which will cost us over $400 million just to get out of the contract with Tri-State, and we can’t even fix the roads. She’s raising crime by promoting a “homeless camp” and she’s refused to give an accounting of her expenses when asked. Instead, she is doing the typical liberal move and is asking for a Freedom of Information Act request.
Really? What do you have to hide Gwen? Maybe your lobbying, which was funded by La Plata County taxpayers?
No, Mr. Lee, this isn’t sexual harassment. It’s about booting a dangerous person, regardless of their gender, for idiotic policies.
