The Southwest Colorado Genealogical Society will meet at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 9 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
After a brief business meeting, the Society will host a presentation: “Lineage Societies: What are they, and why on earth would you want to join one?” This presentation will cover the basic requirements for membership and explores the myriad possibilities of identifying aspects of a person’s heritage.
The meeting is open to the public.
