As a commercial property owner and Durango City taxpayer, I am happy to support Durango ballot issue 2A. Dedicated funds for street maintenance, police infrastructure, additional officers and code enforcement personnel makes good sense.
Paying taxes isn’t my favorite activity, but I do understand that you get what you pay for. It is a major understatement to say that Durango is a special place. Let’s vote to pay for the basic care and maintenance necessary to keep it that way.
