The weather had few folks thinking about snow tires, so Joey Towning took advantage of Monday’s clear skies and warm temperatures to touch up paint on signs at J/P Tires on north Main Avenue. A break in the blue skies and beautiful spring-like weather could come Tuesday, with a slight chance of rain then a rain-snow mix moving into Southwest Colorado. The National Weather Service pegs Durango’s chance for a rain-snow mix at 30 percent on Wednesday.
