Goal Academy High School will officially kick off the school year Thursday and Friday with its statewide Goal Forum.
Goal Academy is a free, online public high school, which has operated successfully for more than years. All technology equipment is provided at no charge, including laptops and Internet hot spots. Students work online and also have assistance at the nearest of 30 drop-in sites statewide, including in Durango, as well as through a wide variety of online support platforms.
Goal Academy offers a variety of student enrichment programs, including concurrent enrollment in college level classes, internships and volunteer opportunities. Orientations will occur during the month of August and classes begin Sept. 3.
