The Four Corners area was well represented at the BCA National Pool League Championships at the Rio Casino in Las Vegas last weekend. Durango’s Mike DeWitt of Durango won the men’s mixed senior singles 8-ball championship in the gold division.
Cindy Yazzie of Farmington won the women’s senior gold 8-ball championship in the gold division with this shot. Yazzie and DeWitt are teammates in a Durango league along with Jim Carver and Eric Hodges. More than 7,000 players attended the tournament in Las Vegas to compete in a variety of formats including individual and team events.
