Wonderful news about the number of unwanted cats dropping in La Plata County (Herald, June 8).
Kudos to the Humane Society for the good work they are doing.
I would also like to thank D-SNIP (Dogster’s Spay and Neuter Program), a local nonprofit. Since 1999, D-SNIP has supported over 9,585 spay and neuter surgeries.
