Where does the Republican Party come up with these candidates with no character or respect? The latest guy from Colorado Springs enters the Senate race by calling a sitting U.S. Senator a “bozo” and “bobblehead,” (Herald, Jan. 16). Then in the same Herald, Rep. Tipton called President Obama’s moratorium on new coal leases on federal lands “an assault on rural America.” Isn’t that somewhat transparent of his allegiance to the energy industry? Of course, then there is Donald Trump. Enough said.
