Agencies, schools provide information for locals

The first annual School and Community Fair featured more than 20 agencies and school departments in Bayfield that serve families in the area.
The first annual Bayfield School and Community Fair was held on Thursday, Sept. 21 at the Pine River Public Library.
Dozens of school departments and community agencies shared information about their services.
Participating groups included the Bayfield Assocation for the Advancement of Music, Be FRANK, Boys & Girls Club, La Plata Social Services, Bayfield Early Education Program, Friends of the Pine River Library, Pine River Valley Heritage Society and Bayfield Heritage Days and Sheep Trailing, La Plata Family Center Coalition, Pine River Times and Durango Herald, Pine River Shares, Pine River Library, Pine River Gardy Club, and Pine River Rotary Club. School departments, clubs and services also provided information to local families.
