The big night is just a couple of days away, and we’ve gotta ask: What are you doing on New Year’s Eve? If your answer is a shrug or you’re planning on sitting on your couch in sweats ... you can do better!
We scoured the internet for stuff to do Sunday night, so if your NYE comes up kind of lame, you have only yourself to blame.
So without further ado, here are some suggestions for your New Year’s Eve ... see you in 2024.
Let’s Glow! New Year’s Eve Dance Party, 8 p.m.-12:30 a.m., American Legion Trujillo-Sheets Post 28, 878 East Second Ave. All ages. $25 (under 18 free). Featuring music from: Teddy Ruckspin, 8-9 p.m.; CodeStar, 9-10 p.m.; Ashtara, 10-11 p.m.; SUPERPOWERS, 11 p.m.-12:30 a.m. This party will be complete with UV lights to help us get our glow on, so dress bright to light up the night. Indiglo Marigold will have fluorescent and organic white face paints available along with original artwork will be for sale. Filtered water provided (bring a water bottle, no cups provided). This is a nonalcoholic event; snacks provided.

New Year’s Eve Gala, 7-11 p.m., The Subterrain, 900 Main Ave. Free entry. Put on your finest and sparkliest duds, and end the year partying like its Eastern Standard Time! Serving sparkling wine from Palisade along with locally artisan wine and cider, with a soundtrack that you can swing your hips and click your heels to. Ring in the New Year properly and be home before amateur hour. Ages 21 and older .

EsoTerra New Year’s Eve Countdown Party, 8:30 p.m., EsoTerra Ciderworks, 558 Main Ave. DJ Tones will kick off the celebration with a fantastic music selection starting at 8:30 p.m. All-ages friendly until 10 p.m., making it the perfect event for everyone to enjoy. Once the clock strikes 10, the party really heats up, and we’ll be dancing our way into the midnight countdown! Indulge in the celebration with $5 glasses of bubbly. And here’s a chance to shine even brighter: Showcase your most dazzling outfit and look for the night, as we’ll be awarding a special prize to the party-goer who sparkles the most.
New Year’s Eve at Roxy’s, 8 p.m.-2 a.m., Roxy’s, 713 Main Ave. An immersive night of EDM supplied from and selected by some of the best DJs in Durango: Ravenous, Dancing Arrow, Teknique, Squoze and Mosswalker. Chance to win a $100 gift certificate for the best future-themed costume. $3 kamikaze shots all night long. Champagne toast at midnight.
A Time Traveler’s Ball, doors open at 6 p.m., Sky Ute Casino Resort, 14324 Highway 172 North, Ignacio. Tickets are $175 per couple or $100 for a single ticket for both the dinner and the party. Dinner begins at 6 p.m., and the party starts at 9 p.m. Ticket price also includes themed party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. The Boombox Heroes will play hits from the past as we dance through time to 2024! New Year’s Eve party tickets will only be $25 and will also include party favors and champagne toast.
