Grassburger was listed on the 2019 Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the U.S.
Grassburger and other Colorado companies recognized by Inc. were honored Oct. 21 in Denver by Colorado Gov. Jared Polis and Office of Economic Development and International Trade Executive Director Betsy Markey.
“We were honored to make the list and to be part of the state’s celebration of Colorado businesses,” said Jessie Kileen, Grassburger CEO and co-founder. “This administration is committed to supporting companies that focus on cleaner and sustainable food options. ... We hope to continue to grow in Colorado and to offer our take on the American burger and fry options in more places.”
Grassburger opened its first restaurant at 726½ Main Ave. in Durango on July 3, 2014. Grassburger is a burger, fry and shake concept that serves 100% U.S.-raised grass-fed beef. Its focus is on ethical and sustainable food and ingredients.
