Durango Fire Protection District firefighters clear gravel Monday from an overturned Neil’s Excavation truck at U.S. Highway 160 and Colorado Highway 172. According to the Colorado State Patrol, the driver reported a possible equipment malfunction as the eastbound truck turned south off Highway 160 onto Highway 172 and then flipped into the northbound lanes. The driver was not injured, and no other vehicles were involved. Traffic was disrupted for about an hour.
