Great Old Broads for Wilderness was awarded the $10,000 Climate Action Grant from Aspiration to continue its nationwide woman-led grassroots advocacy and education.
Broads was among the 10 organizations selected from 500 nominations by a panel of climate activists.
The organization plans to use the money to benefit its ongoing efforts in fighting fossil fuel production on public lands, and protecting and restoring forests, wetlands and grasslands.
