Green Party candidate compelled to run for U.S. Senate

Menconi

DENVER – Green Party candidate Arn Menconi is running for U.S. Senate because he is tired of what campaign money has done to politics.

“I’ve been trying my best as an activist to get to the fact that we are killing innocent people in the Middle East and not fighting environmental destruction and racial injustice,” Menconi said.

He understands that he is a long shot to win the race against major party candidates, but Menconi said he couldn’t sit on the sidelines.

He is running against Democratic incumbent Michael Bennet, Republican challenger Darryl Glenn and Libertarian challenger Lily Tang Williams.
