Thanks to John Peel for his honest and unbiased column on Dr. Richard Grossman and his retirement from his OB/GYN practice (Herald, June 23). I feel blessed to have known Grossman as my doctor. He is the doctor who delivered my youngest daughter (22 years ago) and continued to be my doctor of choice until I moved in 2013. He is a brave man with the courage of his convictions. I know it wasn’t always easy for him and his family. I would like to thank him for what he has helped to provide to the women in La Plata County: The freedom to choose what is best for them and excellent medical care! Best of love and luck to Grossman and his family. May they all enjoy his retirement as much as we have enjoyed his medical care through the years.
