San Juan Mountains Association, Trails 2000, Mountain Studies Institute, Durango Nature Studies and the San Juan National Forest will offer participants opportunities to engage in restoration efforts and to learn how the fire affected the forest.

Trail-work volunteers should plan to mountain bike to the work site. No experience is necessary. Instructions, safety talk, tools, gloves, water and lunch will be provided for all crew members.
