Durango Amateur Radio Club will sponsor an event for those interested in the hobby from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 2 at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Displays and interactive demonstrations of ham-operating equipment will be featured. Attendees will be able to view digital, long-distance, local and statewide communication technology.
The event is free and open to all.
