Hate speech is not equal to free speech

I recently sent the message below to the White House via postcard. Anything sent to representatives in Washington in an envelope is not, typically, opened because a letter was sent in 2001 to The Hart Building in D.C. with anthrax (supposedly). If you truly want to get a message read by President Trump, or others in Washington, without it being discarded, again, a postcard is the way to go.

“Dear Honorable President Donald J. Trump, First Lady, Senators, Congressmen and staff: One of the many slogans on banners across the nation the day after the horrible white supremacist rally on Aug. 12 was “Hate Speech is not equal to Free Speech.”

My request to you is to pass speedy legislation that allows the arrest of anyone bearing arms at a rally. White supremacists had many more weapons on their bodies than law enforcement and a vehicle mowed down peaceful protesters and one person died.

More of this domestic violence was threatened in future rallies by racists. Please, nip this in the bud now.”
