The 18th Congressional District in Pennsylvania sits just south of Pittsburgh. This is a district that Trump won by 20 points, and the Democrats have not fielded a candidate there in several years because it is so thoroughly Republican. And yet Connor Lamb won the special election there. President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and one of Trump’s kids all campaigned there for candidate Rick Saccone, to no avail. However, Trump claimed it was his success because he had turned “a large Republican loss into a near break-even”, and immediately labeled Conor Lamb, “Lamb the Sham.”
This is your president of the United States, the man occupying the most important office in the world, at his most presidential. Republicans, aren’t you tired of this constant empty posturing? How about the indifference of congressional Republicans to Russia’s attempts to infect our electoral system? Or the in-your-face, out of the blue, termination of the Congressional investigation into Russian interference by Nunez and the House Intelligence Committee? Our so-called representative, Scott Tipton, is in lockstep with all of these Republican failings and will not face you in a town meeting. Clearly this representative is not representing the Coloradans in this District.
Haven’t you had enough of this? The folks in Pennsylvania’s Congressional 18th certainly have. They are taking a chance on a Democrat. Republicans of the Colorado 3rd, you should try it.
