The Durango Discovery Museum on Friday celebrated Pi Day, which falls annually on March 14 to mirror Pi’s numerical value, 3.14. The museum held activities and games for kids as well as a pie eating contest. From left, Nathan Parker, son of Kathy Parker; Lena Rohn, daughter of Nichole and Bill Rohn; and Cameron Cunningham, son of Karen and Steve Cunninghman, chow down during the contest. Pi is a mathematical constant derived from the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter.
