A "redneck relay," a team hay bale challenge, will be a new activity at this year's Bayfield Heritage Days and Sheep Trailing.
Teams of two, three or four people can sign up to make as many laps as they can around the track in Joe Stephenson Park while carrying a bale of hay.
The cost is $10 per person, will all proceeds benefiting a local man who is recovering from a stroke.
The event will start at 1 p.m. Saturday at the south end of Joe Stephenson Park. All adults 21 and over who participate will receive a token for a free beer at the Billy Goat Saloon. AJ's Greenhouse also is sponsoring the event.
