Headlines suggest problems with marijuana

In recent days I have read these headlines in the Herald: “As Colorado allows pot sales, others reverse their course” (March 10); “Like to drive high? You might want to think twice about that” (March 12). “Student leaps to death after eating pot cookie” (April 3); “Have your kids gotten into your pot-laced goodies?” (April 7); “Pot may cause changes in brain, study suggests,” (April 16); “Pot deaths stoke fears about safety of edibles” (April 19); “County draft code requires moral pot sellers,” (April 23); and “Lawmakers grapple with marijuana edibles” (May 2). Then there was this one: “What do you think of recreational pot?” (April 29). If I said I think it’s a good idea, would you think I was high?
