Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, a health care advocacy organization headquartered in Denver, is conducting its statewide listening tour, coming to Durango at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 5 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
CCHI actively promotes and lobbies policies for affordable and accessible health care for everyone in Colorado. CCHI, brought a $150,000 state grant to La Plata County last year to help people who were struggling to pay their medical bills.
CCHI wants to hear about the community’s challenges and barriers to health care and take that information to legislators in Denver.
Participants must register to reserve a spot for this focus group. Food will be provided for all participants, and $30 Visa gift cards will be available for the first 25 attendees.
