SafeCare Colorado at San Juan Basin Public Health is a flexible, free in-home visiting program for families or caregivers with at least one child aged 5 years or younger in the home.
SafeCare helps families who are at-risk because of socio-economic status, physical or mental health issues, little or no family support, single parenting, multiple children in the home, young age of the parent, and/or a history of violence or child maltreatment. SafeCare works with families in La Plata, San Juan and Archuleta counties, and the Southern Ute Indian Tribe.
