San Juan Basin Public Health will host an emergency preparedness training from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
Representatives with the SJBPH Equity in Emergency Preparedness Program will show how to make an emergency preparedness kit and how to stay safe during an emergency.
Participants will receive an item for their kit, and lunch will be provided.
