As part of a series of health talks, Dr. Dennis O’Brien will present “The Big Gulp,” about the gastrointestinal tract, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 13 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
O’Brien will review the function of the gastrointestinal tract from entry to exit, talk about options for when it doesn’t function properly and learn how to correct problems, such as heartburn, halitosis, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, arthritis and allergies.
