Heart Safe La Plata, a local nonprofit organization, will offer these community basic first aid and CPR classes in February:
3-6 p.m. Wednesday: basic first aid.6-10 p.m. Wednesday: adult/child/infant CPR.6-10 p.m. Feb. 12: adult/child/infant CPR and CPR for health care professionals.All community classes will be held at Durango Fire & Rescue Station 1, 142 Sheppard Drive.
Fees are $55 for basic first aid and $65 for CPR, or $85 for the combination basic first aid and CPR. Groups of 10 or more may schedule private classes.
