Heart Safe La Plata, a local nonprofit organization, will offer these CPR and first aid classes in March:
3-6 p.m. Wednesday: Basic first aid.6-10 p.m. Wednesday: Adult/child/infant CPR. 6-10 p.m. March 11: Adult/child/infant CPR for health care professionals.All community classes are held at the Durango Fire & Rescue Station 1, 142 Sheppard Drive.
Fees are $55 for basic first aid and $65 for CPR, or $85 for both. Groups of 10 or more may schedule private classes.
