Heart Safe La Plata, a local nonprofit organization, will hold these Community Basic First Aid and CPR classes at the Durango Fire & Rescue Station 1, 142 Sheppard Drive.
3-6 p.m. Wednesday: Community basic first aid.
6-10 p.m. Wednesday: Community adult/child/infant CPR. 6-10 p.m. Sept. 11: Community adult/child/infant CPR and CPR for health care professionals .Cost is $55 for basic first aid and $65 for CPR, or $85 for the combination basic first aid and CPR. Groups of 10 or more may schedule private classes.
