Heart Safe La Plata, a local nonprofit organization, will hold these Community Basic First Aid and CPR classes in November:
3-6 p.m. Wednesday: Basic first aid.6-10 p.m. Wednesday: Adult/child/infant CPR.6-10 p.m. Nov. 13: Adult/child/infant CPR and CPR for health care professionals.All community classes will be held at the Durango Fire & Rescue Station 1, 142 Sheppard Drive. Fees are $55 per person for basic first aid and $65 per person for CPR, or $85 for the combination basic first aid and CPR. Groups of 10 or more may schedule private classes.
