Heart Safe La Plata, a local nonprofit organization, will offer these Community Basic First Aid and CPR classes in December:
3-6 p.m. Wednesday: Basic first aid.
6-10 p.m. Wednesday: Adult/child/infant CPR.
6-10 p.m. Dec. 11: Adult/child/infant CPR and CPR for health care professionals.
All community classes are held at the Durango Fire & Rescue Station 1, 142 Sheppard Drive.
Fees are $55 per person for basic first aid, $65 for CPR and $85 for the combination Basic First aid and CPR. Groups of 10 or more may schedule private classes.
